How to Get Started
Switching from Classic Outlook
- Look for the “Try the new Outlook” toggle in the upper right corner of the classic Outlook app.
- Click the toggle to download and launch the new Outlook.
- Sign in with your default Microsoft account or manually enter your login details.
- Import settings from classic Outlook or configure them manually.
Switching from Windows Mail & Calendar
- A toggle button will appear in the upper right of the Mail app in Windows 10/11.
- Click “Try the new Outlook” to download and switch to the updated version.
Tip: You can always switch back to Classic Outlook by turning off the toggle.

- PST File Support – While available, it has limited capabilities in the new Outlook.
